We loved Wendy The Pool
Posted 5 Apr 2024 on HotelsWe had a fabulous 5 night stay at Wendy. It’s a boutique resort on stunning beach and a wonderful place to relax as a family or a couple. The rooms were lovely and actually bigger than expected - the high ceilings are nice too. Walking out to your deck and into a massive pool is great. The restaurant right on the beach has a small but delicious menu. We particularly loved their the mango, coconut, and pineapple shakes. The breakfast buffet was always good with lots of variety.
The staff are friendly and eager to help. As it’s a small resort they personally know all the guests quickly. Not all the staff know much English but this was never a problem and if there is an issue one of the two managers will quickly be able to assist.
The beach is simply spectacular. Powdery sand, clear warm water that is sometimes as still as a pool. Never too crowded. It’s a short walk to the main road where there are a few other cafes, restaurants and simple shops. There are two ATM’s on the main road.
If you’ve never been too Koh Kood, it’s a quiet island and not to place to go for nightlife. Getting around will require a rented scooter or hiring a private taxi through the hotel.

Amazing stay in a beautiful hotel
Posted 3 Dec 2019 on HotelsI stayed two nights with my girlfriend at Wendy the Pool Resort. We had book a simple Pool Access villa but got upgraded to the Suite which was simply huge and with a view of the beach.
The staff was incredibly nice and very helpful with any of our requests (renting a scooter, scuba diving, snorkel rental).
Restaurant and bar was a bit pricey but very high quality of dishes and delicious drinks. Breakfast was also very good and had many options.
Overall 10/10 experience, thank you Wendy!

Incredible Beach

2-night stay there is a total relaxation. I asked for the room closest to the beach and when I got there it was not. After informing the staff of my booking request, they worked on it and changed room for me. Thank you for nice hospitality and good services.

The staff were very friendly, the room was gorgeous, the pool and the beach areas were pristine and perfect.We stayed here for four nights and six nights in total on the island. We saw a lot of hotels and thought Wendy was even better than High Seasons, Cham's, Ko Kood Resort, etc. which are usually more expensive.
It is a medium sized hotel with about 15 rooms. The star of the show is the beach which has crystal clear waters and soft white sand. We were here during the Christamas holiday and had zero interaction with sand flies. The hotel offers use of their kayaks for free and even has DVDs and games in case of a rainy day.
The food at the hotel was very good and pizza and pasta offered a nice break from Thai food. Although expect to pay around $10 for a dish and $5 for a fruit shake. All in all this is a great hotel if you want to stay at the hotel for the few days and just use the beach and pool and relax.

Location: The loveliest beach in Koh Kood - white sand, turquoise waters - short walk to the main road easily to find cheaper more local restaurants
Beautiful hotel, right on the loveliest beach in Koh Kood - white sand, turquoise waters and comfortable beach loungers just on your doorstep. Loved being able to sink into the pool right from our balcony if we didn't fancy a beach day.
