The last 3 days of our South Africa trip were spent at Mount Knysna Hotel. A stunning location backed up by 5* accommodation with staff and service to match. If you’re ever in this wonderful part of The Cape I truly recommend a stay at this property. You’ll be impressed

Breath taking views, wonderful room and balcony
Posted 19 Apr 2018Highly attentive staff, personalised service without being intrusive. Excellent meal, went out of their way to cater for dietary needs. Very specific advice on things to do and see which made our stay.

Designer hotel lacking services
Posted 22 Feb 2018A beautiful hotel with fabulous views of the Indian Ocean and coast. Small and intimate with lovely rooms and large bathrooms containing molton brown products.
Catering side is patchy though and there are no services in the evening when the staff go home.
Lacking in atmosphere and slightly claustrophobic . Prices are high for what is essentially a serviced villa in a remote residential area. No room service in the evening.

When the crew from night shift go off at around 22h30, the General Manager or night shift manager, who are on site 24 hours a day, are available to tend to your requests, of which there were none as reported by the staff on duty.
