"On a motorcycle tour of Scandinavia we stayed in around 15 different hotels - this was a real favourite. It was slightly out of season, so fairly quiet even though it looks like it could handle a lot of guests comfortably (I imagine it's sometimes used for weddings). Our room was superb - very recently refurbished (still had that slight "new carpet" smell) and was finished to a very high standard. Very spacious, with a large bathroom and even a little entrance lobby. Each room has it's own door...

"Nice hotel polite staff and good breakfast (but VERY busy at 06.30 I had to leave without any!) building work was going on and so ask for a room at the front (note this is not an option for disabled travelers all rooms with showers/accessible rooms are at the back)"

"We recently stayed at Hotel Scandic in Halmstad, and overall, we had a pleasant experience. The staff were exceptionally professional and friendly, especially the lady who checked us in — she was super welcoming and made us feel right at home. The service was great, but the room we stayed in could use a little renovation and updated furniture. On a positive note, the sauna and jacuzzi, which were already included in our stay, were very relaxing. We really enjoyed using them and highly recommend...
