"Our stay at Griffen Spa Hotel was, as usual, very good. However, this time we encountered a small issue with our room. "The staff were friendly, pleasantly offered recommendations when needed. The room was VERY clean, which was appreciated, and the breakfast was good, and had a lot of options. Be aware, if you have an issue with stairs, ask for a first level room when booking as there is no elevator. I definately would stay there again if on Bornholm."

A wonderful experience

"The facility was interesting and enjoyable. We were surprised to have a “detached bathroom” which was dedicated to our room but located 50’ away from our room. The facility was spotless and the real highlights were the location, OUTSTANDING breakfast and most importantly the owners who were kind, gracious and truly made the stay wonderful. "

Great location

"Our room and bath were small, under the eaves, but we had everything we needed. Bathroom was down a deep step, which we had to get used to. Breakfast was across the street at the sister hotel in a "hyggelig" breakfast room. There was a little COVID-era quirk: we had to put on plastic gloves before using the breakfast buffet. Hotel is conveniently located, next to the Tourist Information Center, close to ferries and origen of bus routes to visit the entire island, as well as a short walk to Rønne's main square, Store Torv, with shops, cafes and restaurants."
