"It's a great location, 1-3min walk to the beach, buses to the city and great food between the hotel and the beach. The only let down was the state of room. It felt like the toilet was going to break every time I flushed, the beds need replacing and worst of all... No mosquito net on the window (no air-con so you need to open the window to cool the room down). But otherwise a great place to stay"

"On the whole, the National Hotel offered very good value for money as far as I was concerned. We were given a very attractive, spacious room, which was one of the best features of this hotel. The breakfast offered was adequate in that there was some variety and reasonably good quality. One staff member in particular, Greta, offered very good service indeed and demonstrated genuine care for all guests.
