Hotel description and website are misleading
Posted 15 Sep 2023 on HotelsThis property is located in a beautiful place, room was ok, and staff was friendly. However the hotel site and the ad are misleading and I will explain why. My friends and I were on a two week road-trip and this was our final stop before driving home to Germany. We selected the hotel and decided to pay a little extra because this place advertised a beautiful Spa and wellness area, open year round (this still shows on the site). After a long drive we arrive to the hotel only to find that the spa is closed during summer, receptionist explained that they would open the spa on request. We requested the spa only be denied by the owner. The owner not only denied access to the spa, she also loudly yelled at us in Austrian. Definitely a bad experience that broke our mood the final day of the trip. Won’t be stopping here again.

Comfortable and Efficient
Posted 26 Sep 2021 on HotelsCheck in was polite, efficient and available late due to a very delayed flight. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Room had a few querks but not anything to avoid. Breakfast (included) was a self service cold buffet and well stocked. Check-out was equally efficient. I would stay again.

Gute Hotel mit Fehlern
Posted 15 Nov 2019 on HotelsDas Hotel ist sehr nett, gut gelegen und gepflegt. Allerdings sind Bedienung und Empfang nicht sonderlich freundlich, sondern eher schnippig und schlecht gelaunt. Leider habe ich das in jetzt schon Österreich schon häufiger erlebt.

Posted 30 Sep 2019 on HotelsThe hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and tidy. The things that kept this place from getting more stars was that we found the beds a bit hard for our liking, heater on the wall in the bath inoperative and the television not to be picking up any channels. We would stay there again as it was a good value for the money and in a great location.

Lovely hotel with the best buffet breakfast!

The bathroom was cleaned and well maintained.
Our room was located in the second floor and had a nice balcony.
If you have a big luggage, it's hard to bring it all the way up because there is no lift.
I really enjoyed our stay!

Wörthersee hotel.
Posted 15 Jul 2016 on HotelsThis hotel is great to swim at Wörthersee. The reception will help you but you have to be clear as they did not provide me the best directions. Best to arrive early to get the best from this place as it is only 800m from Gustav Mahler's house (which is not advertised at the hotel and if you are a music buff - is really big!) It is difficult to get free access to Wörthersee - so this makes this hotel so good. You need a car to get here. The restaurant was brilliant and so was breakfast. The room is very simple. The spa is not really open in summer - but ask to use the sauna and the reception will help.
