Love this property. Clean and organized. Easy access and friendly staff to work with. Reasonable pricing. We will visit again for sure!

Winter trip
Posted 21 Jan 2024 on HotelsThe place was comfortable with plenty of space and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. It was located near a shopping site. The one issue for us was that no one came to shovel the driveway for the place so I had to do it myself since the snow plow had blocked us in. Now there was a shovel to use but it was not the greatest one to use and I felt at times that it was going to crack with the wet snow. It would have been nice to have been informed ahead of time that no clearing service would be provided. Thankfully I was fit enough to clear enough for us to get out.

We understand your concern about shoveling snow, the big snow storm happened on the date of your check in, the whole city was slow down on snow shoveling/removal. Our contractor had so many clients to be taking care of at the same, and they were behind the schedules and work has been delayed. We supply shovel and salt for just in case guests need to get in/out sooner, so they can use the shovel. The huge packed ice-snow were eventually cleared on the date of your check-out.

When we booked there was no indication that I recall that this was a basement suite. Access stairs were steep and no window in bedroom makes me question whether this is a legal suite. No temperature control in suite - we froze for days. The bedding for the hide a bed was dirty and threadbare. This was promptly remedied by Boardwalk the next morning, but because of this our daughter’s first night was poor. Toilet plugged part way through and when I called about that they didn’t seem to be interested in finding a solution because “it’s Saturday”. Working toilets are pretty important even on weekends. We will not be returning.

We are truly sorry that you did not have an enjoyable stay in the unit.
The 1-bedroom unit that you stayed is a walkout basement unit with large patio door facing the green area and a nice park behind the green. We also have other 1-bedroom units with entrance on ground level. Most of our guests like the walkout basement unit as it is our newest unit and bright. We have also provided a fireplace in the unit for guests to use in case they feel cold.
For the toilet tissue blockage, our staff had in fact contacted one of the maintenance staff and arranged him to go to your unit that morning. However, the arrangement was cancelled as you reported 20 minutes later that the problem was solved.
Once again, we would like to apologize for the experience you had. We sincerely hope you will come to stay with us next time and we can offer you 1 night free.
