After we booked, the confirmation said that check-in was from 3pm to 6pm. We weren't planning on arriving until 10pm so we panicked a little. However, after careful reading, the confirmation said to contact the property for late check-in to get a code to the outside door. They were quick to respond with the code. Our key was waiting for us at the counter after accessing the outside door with the code.

I’m from California and my German is not great - the staff was great and helped me out a lot /the place was quiet and comfortable -I’ll come again!
