My husband and I checked in at 9:20 PM, and by 9:40, we were on the phone with Expedia. The first room was dirty and poorly remodeled. There were significant gaps in the flooring, and the entry door wouldn’t close properly. Cleanliness was the biggest concern. Surfaces were not wiped down, dirt and crumbs surrounded the bed, and the floors hadn't been cleaned in a while. The shower was also in unacceptable condition. The hotel lacked basic amenities: only one trash can in the bathroom, just two drawers, and a mere four hangers in the closet. The shower had no shelf for toiletries, which made it very inconvenient. While we didn’t expect a luxury stay, being informed at check-in that rooms are cleaned only every three days—with two days’ notice—was off-putting, especially since our initial room was already unacceptable. We gave the hotel a chance to make things right by viewing another room, but it was just as bad and even had breakfast syrup smeared on the nightstand. By 11:30 PM, we booked a night at another property. The next morning, the general manager called and offered a guaranteed clean room if we returned, which we appreciated but ultimately declined. He suggested another property he managed, but unfortunately, it was in the same condition. While I appreciated his attempts to resolve the issue, the overall experience was deeply disappointing

One of the most misleading places we’ve stayed. Has a locked gate to the property but anyone can buzz and be let in. None of the outside doors are locked, and the balcony doors are not lockable either. Anyone could theoretically access their neighbors rooms by hopping over the short walls between each balcony as none of the doors have locks on them. The room we stayed in looked nice at first, but we found cockroaches and bugs a couple days in. The shower head leaked and the floor of the shower was angled in such a way that it never drained. The refrigerator ticked like a clock and apparently didn’t fit in the cupboard it was supposed to, as it sat beside it and the door was screwed shut. The mattresses didn’t fit the bed frames. One of the hallways smelled like “the green stuff” the entire time we stayed there so maybe it was an employee? The most redeeming quality was the breakfast, which was mostly good, but most mornings no matter what time we got there at there was a shortage of plates and cutlery, and seats were hard to find, which is an issue when you can’t take anything out of the dining area. Two of the mornings the coffee creamer was also sour. The staff was mostly pleasant but there was one night that we brought food back from a restaurant and when we asked at the front reception for cutlery we were told they didn’t have any… despite there being a full breakfast room in another building. All in all, I don’t think we will stay here again.

My wife and i stayed for 4 nights and had to be one of my worst stays at a hotel. First its seemed like the gates to get in and elevator havent been worked on in a while and took forever to open/get to the said floors. When we got to the room the bed wasn't comfy at all and barely slept the whole trip i was there. The shower had no hot water during the time of our stay, and my wife found ants in the bathroom the first night. On top of all of that the first night at 4 in the morning the fire alarms went of making all the guests get out of the building and stand outside for 30 min plus just to be told it was a false alarm. I dont see how at this place it could be up to a $500 fine for a noise complaint for me possibly but i get sent outside with my wife and the rest of the guests and just told it is a false alarm and got no other apologies or any other compensation. One of my worst experiences staying at a hotel.

Clean spaces, friendly staff, loved the family-centric and inspirational art on the hallway walls and the peaceful dock and chairs area with views of the pond behind the property. Also a very convenient location to attractions, restaurants and stores, as well as very reasonable prices. Will definitely stay there again.
