One the night we arrived a bus with around 50 students on a field trip arrived. They ran rampant around the complex. Several calls to the front desk did nothing. I guess it was just bad timing for us.

The food and drinks were exceptional! We enjoyed drinks at the bar and the lamb was simply exquisite! What was a turn off was how noisy some of the guests were. Understandably so it was a hotel, but the tourists and kids were not it, and some were impatient (upon check-in), a guest actually cut us off upon arrival and the receptionist did nothing about it.

La ubicación para ver las auroras boreales es excelente! Pudimos verlas desde las 10 pm desde todos los angulos del hotel. La atencion de José, fue excepcional, ofreciendonos información de lugares para visitar.

The property is pretty dated, looks about 30 years old. However, our room was really clean, roomy and warm.
The complimentary breakfast was delicious and had a lot of items to choose from.
Don't bother with the restaurant for dinner, though, unless you don't have transport to take you to one of the nearby places. It's more expensive than average but small portions.

This was a pleasant stay. The only improvement I would recommend is lighting outside the building that includes the restaurant.
