"Always a cracking stay. But we did have something stolen from our wallet on a previous stay which we know was from a male room cleaner. We couldn’t be bothered to report it. But beware, dont leave valuables around. "

"We had a lovely view towards Torquay theatre & harbour from our room. Breakfast was buffet style with hot & cold options. We ate in the Brasserie/Compass Bar area for our evening meals. Food was not cheap, but it was delicious! Had the lightest sticky toffee pudding ever! Room was a decent size with a shower over the bath. Tea & coffee making available in room/supplies refreshed. Hotel was nicely decorated fir Christmas. Staff were very helpful - thank you! "

"Nice hotel and is quite modern for the area when compared to other hotels. Aircon was nice, but the rooms are pretty much identical to all other hotels, no character and very small, no parking on site, and not much accessibility for disabled (on a hill) but was comfortable and would stay again..security was good with entry card systems for lifts etc.. "

"This is a great getaway hotel. It's just outside Torquay with views out over the bay and around the corner from meadfoot. The hotel has a mini spa which is perfect for unwinding. Proper full breakfast in restaurant with views over the bay."

"We just stayed one night between Xmas and new year could not fault anything about hotel or staff!! Just thought there would be more Xmas decorations around lounge and social areas but will definitely be back!! "
