Lovely country house and lovely hosts
Posted 18 Sep 2020 on HotelsWe spent 5 nights here in September. It's a lovely old country house down a very quiet lane, with the beautiful Herefordshire to the east and the Welsh mountains to the west. Our room was exceptionally spacious and really nicely decorated, with rural views from the windows on 3 sides. Hosts Fiona and Will were really friendly and helpful but never intrusive.
The dining room was set up with one large table, so we were able to chat to the other guests at breakfast, which is much nicer than separate parties whispering between themselves. Breakfast itself was excellent, with differing stewed fruits each day to add to our cereal, lovely cooked food with eggs collected by Will pretty much the same day.
The house is set in about 18 acres of meadows and garden. and at the end of the garden is a lovely old (very old) little church (still in use) with beautiful windows and some of the original oak pews.
I really cannot think of anything about this B&B that I could criticise. and we thank Fiona and Will for making it a wonderful and comfortable break.

This is the most beautiful, comfortable family home for a special treat. We stayed in the elegant large double bedroom with windows on three sides looking out onto the woods, veg patch, church and cows - deeply restful. Scrumptious breakfasts (and the supper we had one evening) included home made jams and yogurts, dairy and gluten alternatives, produce from the garden. Will and Fiona could not have been more welcoming and helpful, finding places for wild swimming and calling up cider-making friends so we could go for a tasting (recommended!) - a lovely family.

Beautiful setting and wonderful host.
Posted 5 Aug 2019 on HotelsWe stayed here over the weekend when visiting the area for a wedding. It was superb and we were gutted we didn't have more time to spend here. The setting is stunning, host was delightful and the room was brilliantly comfortable. We will definately be returning to spend some more time here.

Wonderful Country Hideaway
Posted 18 Sep 2018 on HotelsWe had a lovely one night stay at Huntington Court. Our room was gorgeous - it felt very private from the rest of the house, spacious, stylish with a wonderful bed and bath. Breakfast the next morning was incredible: in a gorgeous dining room next to an open fire, with wonderful fresh produce from the kitchen garden. Nestled amongst rolling fields of sheep, the property is in a fab location if you want to get away from it all, yet close enough to lovely spots such as Hay on Wye if you're looking to explore. Wish we could have stayed longer!
