The apartment was clean to the point of sterile. The manager was punctual, polite and a professional. The apartment was close to where I needed to be and the security guard was pretty helpful in helping us to find local places to eat. Good experience. First time in Kingston

Location is second to none. Nice convenient spot. Clean apartment, all other amenities worked. Would visit again.

Sorry for the late review, we stayed here in November 2018 for our anniversary. As described, the rooms are very modern and is very clean and is in a awesome location in Kingston. Having a caring host was wonderful and it was super convenient that they were always available via the whatsapp chat! Communication was quick and easy, we would love to stay again!

The shower handle was falling off. The toilet fill valve needs to be replaced. The 2 pots provided were unusable had to purchase pots to cook with. Ants were an issue. Good location.

Thanks for the review. We use Pioneer woman pot set which is a reasonable pot set. The guest request a "big dutchie" and did went out and bought the extra large pot. Toilet handles worked perfect upon inspection but the showhead was broken and immediately replace. It was of little concern how it broke as guest comfort is the ultimate goal. It is not a good idea to leave half finished food on the patio as it is a tropical country and ants will find the food. Never the less the patios was treated for ants. Indeed this is a wonderful apartment in a fine location.

VERY CENTRALLY LOCATED APARTMENT

Location: Bus station, places to eat, nightlife and business center
We took the bus from Negril to this apartment and was able to walk to it from the coach station. The apartment was exactly as see in the photos. The staff was proactive and polite. we would recommend yhis apartment as a very good place to stay.

Great apartment in the middle of New Kingston...

Pros: It was in the heart of the business, shopping and entertainment district.
This apartment was well put together and is exactly as appeared on Expedia.com. The amenities exceeded my needs. The staff was professional. I enjoyed my stay and rate this one 5/5.

Amazing city apartment

Pros: It is in the middle of New Kingston
Location: There were restaurants, jerk shack, banks with ATM, public transport, the cross country bus station etc.
Gee...we almost did not book this place based o the first review. We are glad we did. The owners initiated communication the moment we book. They use whatsapp to communicate and told exactly what to expect. We had flight problems and they were very patient. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment was amazing and exactly as seen on the internet. We walked to a few places, (jerk center etc.) For the most part we took public transport everywhere. We visited Usain Bolt place, Bob Marley Museum and the list run on. The apartment is definitely a bang for the buck and we would recommend anyone booking it.

Not what I reserved; neither location or picture

Pros: The guest apartment I was given was nice but it was not in the location or guest apartment community that I reserved.
Cons: Getting the guest apartment that I actually reserved in the location I reserved.
Location: I was placed in Abby Court and not at Chelsea Manor, which I reserved. The apartment was decent but the location was a horribly busy corner.
I booked New Kingston Guest Apartment IV in Chelsea Manor and was placed in a different guest apartment two miles away. I specifically wanted Chelsea Manor because of its location to New Kingston banking district, restaurants, and shopping so I didn't have to rent car. When I got to Kingston and called, they directed me to a different hotel two miles away, decent apartment but horrible location on corner of Hope Road and Trafalgar Road and I ended up needed rental car, which was an additional expense for me. Although the guest apartment I stayed at was okay, it was no where near as nice as the hotel hotel room pictured on the reservation.

Thank you for your review Mr Daire. It is only when a guest write a review do we learn from our mistakes. This guest complained to us prior to check-in that Expedia messed up his dates. We were very empathetic and offered an upgrade to an apartment with a better view and a pool. The guest was elated, graciously accepted and praised us for trying to fix a mistake that was not ours. (Our mistake was that we did not say the upgraded apartment is in Abbey Court and not Chelsea Manor). The guest arrived and checked in without incident, he did not say not a word about not wanting to be at Abbey Court. At check-out, the guest started to make a case about having to rent a car when he did not plan to do so and request a full refund for the stay. If you are a reader and you know Abbey Court (across from Devon House) and Chealse Manor on Chealse Ave which is 1 minute (drive time) away, you probably realize that the guest can walk between the two apartments in 5 minutes. New Kingston is town center and it is busy with traffic. The apartment is sound proof however if you open the window or doors to any apartment in New Kingston you will hear traffic. This is typical of all city apartments. This guest called Expedia and tried to obtain a full refund on the basis that it was noisy and he did not sleep (the first of this kind of complaint) that he had to rent a car because he was placed 10 miles away form the apartment he originally booked and a few other reasons. Nothing less than a free stay would have satisfied this guest. A free upgrade was all we could offer and that too was a catalyst for the guest to ask for more perks.There is a lesson here and we will learn from this.
