"This is a quaint hotel about 20 minutes from Portree. It was nice being away from the busses and major tourist city. The staff was SO nice! And the restaurant was very good. Be sure to get a reservation, as there is not much else up there. My husband and I had a room with twin beds, which was surprisingly lovely! :-)"

"Rosedale offered a harbour view and was walkable to the main town centre. The room was quite small on a below grade room, some passerbys and cars looking onto the room. "This is an older hotel that offers basic rooms, our one was on a smaller side, but everything was clean and comfortable. We did not have the opportunity to try their restaurant as it was fully booked the night we stayed but we really enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is in a really good location within walking distance from the main shopping area, with several restaurants nearby. Please note there is no elevator in this hotel but they offered to help us carry our luggage upstairs to our room. "

"What a fantastic place, right on the waterfront looking out to Uig harbour. Very quiet, lovely spotless room with fantastic views, fridge in the room was a bonus. The cottage owners also own the Uig hotel where excellent choice of breakfast was included. We also had dinner in the hotel which was exceptional, they must have a great chef. So lucky to have found this place. Great location to explore Skye."
