Great cottage

Homey cabin
Posted 22 Apr 2018Loved having our own little cabin, it was great to have our own kitchen. Pots, pans, plates, cutlery, mugs were all included. Only complaint would be the propane smell that was quite overpowering

Yes, I am sorry about the propane stove, we had it looked at previously and the propane company says there are no leaks. We have shut if off and are looking at getting an electric one in there.

The cabin was tiny and filthy dirty.
Posted 12 Sep 2017The owner who checked us in was nice. The cabin was horrible. Tiny filthy dirty except the sheets were clean. No room for suitcases. The bathroom was like a cave and was dark and dirty. We upgraded to their deluxe camper, they discounted the price, but visit cost twice as much as we had planned. On first glance it looked great. The shower was dirty with a used facecloth left in it. My ex trucker husband wouldn't use it. That tells you it was bad. Lack of blankets we froze all night. You could see the sticky gunk and filth on the t.v. couldn't wait to leave.

I am not quite sure how you could have been cold, there is a heat control on the wall along with the controls for the a/c and fan. There were also two large thick comforters in the storage area. You said that you used to have a trailer similar so I expected that you would have known how to work the controls. This is a 2016 unit only used a few times. It looked like you were enjoying yourselves and didnt mention any complaints to me at the time or I would have done my best to accommodate you. The other unit is small but floors are vacuumed and swifter steamed cleaned between each customer. The bed was new, we switched to Queen size only a few months previous to your visit which from any indication I had it looked like you were enjoying.

Not worth the money

The shower is fiberglass. Sorry I forgot to put the garbage can back in the room but there is one outside.

Perfect Getaway

We needed to upgrade our cabin at the very last minute and the owners were very understanding and upgrades us right away. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves to visit Kincardine

Good value

you get your own cabin!
Posted 19 Jul 2016check-in was very easy, and the owners are very friendly and accommodating. We got full use of the facilities including the grill, hot tub, and fire pit! Had a great time. The only complaint was the ton of mosquitos, which went away after a couple hours of using the mosquito coils (make sure to bring some!)

Wow that is really strange, I havent seen any mosquitos? and some people have told me they were impressed that there wernt any??? I need to check this out ?there was a bunch of may flies out there, wonder if thats what you seen.

Exactly as advertised
Posted 12 Oct 2015The studio cabin was a rustic cabin with a full bathroom and shower. Outside was a hot tub and fire pit. This place is not a 5 star hotel, it is a complex of cabins each with a little kitchenette and some cool outdoor amenities. We loved it because we wanted somewhere to relax for a night and staying in a cabin with a hot tub outside after a long drive was awesome.
