"Super unique experience off the beaten path to stay in a beautiful Ryokan. Would be great for a value with larger families, but be prepared to understand the busses or get a taxi, not a ton to do in the immediate area. "This is a gorgeous property and really peaceful. The staff service was wonderful and attentive. We lost our bag on a public bus and the staff drove us to the police station to file a report, giving us a couple hours of their time, and were helpful throughout. The room was great, if a little cold in January, but they provided heating and thick blankets. The private bath was wonderful, especially after they taught us how to heat the tub."
