"We had an ocean front room with a lovely balcony on the top floor (2nd) of the building. The room was good, but with no elevator, I definitely got my steps in carrying luggage up several flights of stairs. Breakfast was a standard continental menu. The check in and check out staff were friendly!"

"We didn’t get service on our room… 5 day stay.. even after requesting it. Flys everywhere…can’t kill them fast enough. That was annoying! Breakfast was mid… we were all set after going once"

"This used to be the only hotel I stayed at whenever going to the outer banks, which is several times a year. But my last visit will be my last visit. I accidentally left a very expensive and very sentimental sweater in my room, and nobody at the hotel seemed to want to help me try to find it. They all seemed indifferent and just kept brushing me off as if it was no big deal. And yes, I do know. I left my sweater in the room. I hope whoever took it enjoyed it. And I never see anybody wearing it next time I go down there. I hope it was worth it for them to lose a lifelong customer."

"The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The suite was clean and clise to the ocean. The only issue is the tv kept shutting off. When I called they said something was broke and to be fixed monday."
