The location is good, and the staff were very nice and accommodating, but the property is in need of renovating (old carpet, wallpaper, and tile in bathroom was a little stained). It was, however, a very fair rate for the area and what was offered. updating

We were put on the first floor with all the dogs left in their rooms barking especially in the morning when I assume people were at breakfast or walking the beach.
The room next to us sounded like the turned their TV up so entertain their small barking dog along with he big barking dog across the hallway from us.
We addressed the front desk and they called one customer on their cell and they were on the beach.
Although our room and lobby was fine the hallways and stairs and elevators areas clearly need attention.
Get there and bar and restaurant are closed!!!!!
Saw people walk into hotel and go eat breakfast and walk back out clearly not even staying there!
Not a good experience there and wished we spent the extra $60 and stayed in the Ramada.

Location was good. Breakfast was basic but okay. Housekeeping was scaled back and getting clean towels and toiletries was aggravating.

I liked the breakfast. The area is nicely located to the outer banks. The facility is a little old, but then again so were all of the other hotels in Nags Head. I wish they had a light out in the hall were the big mirror is. This way, someone can be getting ready out there while someone is getting ready in the bathroom. The air unit was nice.
