The grounds are well kept and close to Duval without being on top of the noise.

This place is amazing with its beautiful architecture, landscape and history.
Friendly front desk personnel rooms supplied with all the amenities of home.

Old town is easily walkable from this hotel. Each room is private and our private veranda was the perfect way to start and end the day. The pool was a nice afternoon break from the heat

We are extremely upset because this hotel was not cheap at all and no notice was given about loud construction right next to our room. It wasn’t expressed anywhere and was not told upon check in. Plus they gave us the room right next to it. Construction starts very early in the morning so we never got to sleep properly on our vacation and to add, the cleaning crew was very loud even earlier. The front desk said they are not allowed to start before 8:30 but we heard lots of banging around at 6am not exaggerating at all and then promptly at 8am was vacuuming and then leaf blower for 30 min straight. Everyone woke up. So no one got sleep and we couldn’t even enjoy the hammock and porch because the construction was so loud. For over $500 we are very upset and will now be warning anyone we know. The front lady said she would refund me but couldn’t since I booked with Expedia. What a vacation

We had a great time at the Island City House Hotel. We enjoyed the room. We liked the outside porch with sitting areas. The hotel was close enough to most areas of Key West that we were able to walk. It was quiet. The only complaint we had was the room had a mild musty smell. Also there is no elevator if you are on one of the upper floors. We would return when we go back to Key West
