The location was ok. You can walk to things but the street was undergoing construction so lots of noise. We had BIG cockroaches and a milipede in our room - they can easily enter through the hole in the front door. The shower floor is hard plastic - hurts your feet. The fridge was good. There is garbage around the premises and our patio. The idea of a quaint cottage is cool, just wish it was cleaner.

There were bugs on the bed when we arrived and continued to appear throughout the weekend. The window AC units were older and smelled like mold when running. Best thing about the room is the location.

That is very concerning to hear of bugs. As we have regular pest control service this is highly unusual to hear. I will try and get to the bottom of this along with checking the A/C.

What can i say? awesome stay in Key West and Island Oasis was the perfect accommodation. We did have a small problem but the Lady in the office on Duval street sorted it very quickly and that was much appreciated. Our room was perfect for our stay with everything we needed and so convenient for Duval street. Parking is at a premium in Key West but we had our own off street parking bay. Thanks to all at Island Oasis see you again soon.

We selected this space because it could accommodate our family of 5 and it fit within our budget. You have to check in at another location on Duval street, but it’s inky about a 2 minute drive. The area was quiet and parking was free and easy on the street. The guest house is super cute on the outside! The property is well maintained on the outside. Our room was cleanish, but the bathroom was in rough shape however it still had charm! The air conditioning was strong and kept the room at a comfortable temperature. This place worked perfectly for us but if you are looking for something more high end and spotless, I recommend somewhere else.

The property would have been very nice if it was cleaner. Our sheets had black pepper like dirt in it and some dead nats. Even after our sheets had been changed by staff we found both of these things in the bed again. The floor was also very dirty. Overall the room was nice I just wish it was cleaner.

Our plans ended up changing and we had to include our dogs on the trip so ended up booking with this location. We were also traveling with my daughter. On Expedia I clicked for the room that showed a separated area between beds. That was not what we ended up with. We had one bedroom with 2 beds and a dining table. It was very tight for 3 of us with 2 Labs. The bathroom was also extremely tiny and my husband who is over 6” compared the shower to a closet. The plunge pool on the property had palm fronds in it and looked like it needed a good cleaning. We booked 3 nights but ended up leaving after the second as a storm was coming and we drove. Unfortunately this property will not refund for leaving early.
The one upside of traveling with dogs and staying here is you are a 5 minute walk to the dog beach.

We do regret to read of your disappointment. You were provided the type of room reserved which was a double queen. We do not sell rooms specifically. You can contact us in advance when there are requests.It was unfortunate of the pending storm although as often is the case, we did not experience what the weather reports were indicating.

Toilet wouldn’t flush
Loud - felt like rundown college condo.
Bathroom old and dated
Wash rags worn and dated ….something I would clean my house with.
