We've stayed here many times and found the recent upgrades to be a great improvement to the facility. The only negative we experienced is when upgrades were made new thermostats were installed that had setting for both cool and heat. Problem is their systems have only the AC function, no heat. So if your staying in cooler weather you might want to ask the front desk for an extra blanket to sleep warm.

First and foremost, beautiful clean property in an excellent location with very comfortable beds...
Now the staff...
Wilday , McKinley, Glaudia... Exemplary Front desk staff! Dealt with construction setbacks while keeping their guests happy... Very happy.
Jesse, Uriel, Richard & Milton went above and beyond to see that we had everything we needed including ice & complimentary bicycles and absolutely everything else we needed. Rosalind, the game coordinator at the Marker pool was such an amazing girl making sure everybody had fun! Karolina the bartender, took great care of us while we were waiting for our pool to open. Excellent food and service at both properties.
Aryshaun ...pm front desk stayed awake.
Denay... Front Desk & Marketplace, saw to our every need, went above and beyond. We know what it's like to work for a hotel under construction. (Former Hilton management)
John concierge ... Knew the answer to every question, great attitude and totally approachable.
Harry & German: These two bartenders have everything it takes to keep The masses fed and drank.... serious hustle . We love you!
We stayed seven nights with a Duval view balcony... Best view on the island. We've been coming to Key West for years... Decades...

Property was very clean. HVAC must have been wired backwards in halls and room. Had to turn unit off to warm room or would have been 64 degrees. Restaurant and staff was amazing. Bar drinks ok but expensive. I would definitely return though.
