Amazing value, idyllic location, friendly hosts.

We had a really nice stay. The place is setup nicely and much bigger than expected so plenty of space for whatever you bring with you. The beds are comfy and the showers really good. There is easy access to Bassenthwaite for water sports and access to the hills behind and around for walking and running. The only thing that might confuse some people is that despite the name "Bramble Cottage" it isn't a standalone cottage, it is a set of rooms with other accommodation above and to the side. You are completely separate from any other visitors though.
