Mixed Experience at a Scenic Mountain Retreat

Pros: -Scenic location amidst the great mountains and near a remote village -Friendly staff proficient in English Impressive amenities, including a pool, spa, and restaurant -Exceptional dog-friendly policies -Breathtaking views of the mountains and lake -Overall cleanliness and quiet atmosphere Cons: -Inefficient check-in after 6 PM process with only one staff member for two buildings -Arriving late (around 6 pm), we had to request a room change and building transfer; otherwise, we were considering leaving the hotel altogether due to initial dissatisfaction. -Two distinct buildings, with a significant difference in quality -Rooms in the other building do not offer value for money -Misleading description on hotels.com; it doesn't mention the building disparities -A lot of rooms in the other building have poor views (facing a wall) -Rooms in the other building are not well-equipped and organized -Construction site in front of the reception of the other building can be confusing and off-putting

Dear Grzegorz. Thank you for your time to end your review. We are glad you enjoyed your time in the hotel and on this beautiful mountain, even if your first impression was not the one you would have hoped to have. We are sorry if you were disappointed with our service in at the check in. Furthermore, we are glad we were able to make you happy by moving you to the other hotel complex and into another room. The timing with the construction was a bad one, yet it was something we did not see coming either. With some other points of your description, I cannot agree, however. All rooms in both hotel complexes have the same quality in equipment and luxury, even though the style might be a little different. We understand that you were disappointed with the view, but if you would like to have a lake view in your room, the description of views in the rooms are decent on the website. However, we are in contact with hotels.com to make it more clear that we do have to complexes and in which complex the different room categories are. We hope that all the confusion did not put you off to another visit in our resort and that we will welcome you back with us in the future. Until then, we wish you all the best.
