Kenora was much more established than I had imagined having a Walmart and Canadian Tire as well as all the usual establishments that can be found in that retail environment. The scenery was very typical (and beautiful) lake, Canada shield and trees.

Kenora is a cute little town in a beautiful area. We hiked A Loop of the Waa'say'Gaa'Boo Trail and there were some gorgeous views. We highly recommend a stay in this area.

Not a lot to do in the winter. On Monday everything is closed basically.
"The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very nice. We brought our dog and had no issues. The room was had good sleeping conditions dark and cool. No issues. We enjoyed our stay. "
