We were charged a very high rate for such a terrible room but there was nothing else in town open. The staff was very nice and helpful however.

Curtis, we did look up your reservation and see that you stayed in July - peak season. We understand that our rates are higher during peak season, however, we are still on average 50% less than Anchorage or Fairbanks. So, yes, the Kenai Peninsula is like every other place in the state of Alaska - adjusting prices due during peak season due to one simple reason "supply and demand" - and we have just 17 lovely, appointed rooms. We are so thankful your very nice comments about our staff! We have a very tenured team, all of which have been here for several years. We love our jobs and our most awesome guests! Thank you for that kind notation, we appreciate it and hope you have a wonderful fall and winter season!

A small hotel right across from the airport.
Fair price and close to Home Depot, Kenai Airport, Walmart, 3 bears and McDonalds.
Very friendly staff.

Clean and quiet but very old. Toilet sweats so water on the floor constantly. Stayed three dsys, no fresh towels had to empty the garbsge.

Hi Cheryl! Thank you for the review. First, I'm really disappointed that you gave us a 2 our of 5, when I was so kind as to waive one of your two DOG FEES when you called last minute (hours before checking in) to let us know that you had two dogs. Not only did I waive one of your fees, I even gave you 50% off the one fee I did charge. When you have dogs in your room, we only do housekeeping service ON REQUEST ONLY as a courtesy not to knock and disturb your dogs. We bent over backwards to show you Kenai hospitality and to make you and your dogs as comfortable as possible since you said you are relocating to this area. In Kenai, we treat people with respect and kindness. A two out of five star review can be detrimental to a small business and that is just simply not how we do things around here. We are open 9am-9pm in the lobby daily. You could come or call and ask for service anytime. We would be happy to do it when you are out and about. I am so disturbed by how nice I was to you and totally overly accommodating to your dogs, just to receive this nasty review. Just sad! Thankfully the majority of our reviews are glowing a true representation of the lovely little hotel that we have to offer. Welcome to Kenai! We wish you the best.
