We were planning to stay a week but there’s absolutely nothing to do in Oct. we did see the lights but the lights around the hotel and villas make it difficult to see them very well.

I had an amazing 3-day stay here by myself. It was a lovely break in a great location. Very close to Kemi, close to restaurants, bars and shops. Beautiful views and friendly staff!

I was looking forward to staying the night at the Glass Villa. But to my disappointment, the night was noisy due to the villa being right next to the caravan park. Also, the curtains didn't close properly so there was a visible access to the neighbouring villa. The curtains should really overlap. The villas are way too close to each other. There's no privacy. But the worst was the morning. I woke up, and was about to check my phone but to my horror, the phone wasn't working. It had gotten totally soaked during the night due to leaking roof. The table was covered in water, and the night's rain storm had made its way in and soaked the table and the floor...and destroyed my new phone with it. I was not amused.

This place was beautiful and with a great view! Super clean and friendly staff! I wish the town itself had things to do. From a tourist point if view there was nothing to do besides enjoy the hotel. I highly recommend spending at least one night it is gorgeous

A Hidden Gem
Posted 15 Feb 2023 on HotelsThe Seaside Glass Villas are the perfect stop-over if you're on your way to Rovaniemi. The villas are a great value comparing to similar glass dome hotel stays. If Icebreaker Sampo is on your list, then a stay at villas almost pays for itself when you compare the additional shuttle cost to come from Rovaniemi. The restaurant at the Snow Castle Resort is not to be missed. I'd stop through Kemi just to have dinner there. The best Arctic inspired cuisine I've had in any of the Nordic countries.
