"Although a little tired and in need of a freshen up, and although there was a slight drain smell from our shower (not enough to complain about) the room was spacious, clean and well furnished. It had a beautiful view over the golf course. The main downside was the mattress which was a little hard and probably a bit worn out. Otherwise it was lovely and the staff were great overall. The gym and
pool were also lovely, and complimentary to hotel guests. "

"Fantastic place to stay
We went as a family with children 11 and 14 who enjoyed the
pool after a long day at Alton Towers
The only down fall or negative point would be the toilet roll in the rooms were awful and cheap that needs looking into. Otherwise a fantastic stay and I’ll be staying again sometime. "

"The venue is in a beautiful historic building. The facilities are great including a
pool with sauna, steam room and jacuzzi.
The rooms had massive comfy beds and were cleaned daily with plenty of towels and extra tea, coffee and biscuits.
My only quibble is that the rooms didn’t have internet tvs. "

"Lovely stay, feeling very relaxed. Room was very clean and comfy. Could do with a some uk plug sockets near the bedside tables. The sockets there were not usable. There were other sockets available, but not many.
Breakfast was good, dinner was amazing!!
Access to the
indoor pool, sauna and steam room was perfect for relaxing. "

"Well we couldn’t have asked for more, the lady on reception was a delight, the manager too. We had a lovely clean and spacious room with such a comfortable bed. Eating in the bar was a great experience, the food was stunning. The lady serving in the bar could not have been nicer, great recommendations and service. Relaxing

Great nights sleep
"Lady who checked us in was really helpful, nothing was too much trouble even though she was really busy. Restaurant staff were welcoming and friendly. There was a long gap between our starter and getting our main meal which was the only downside. We had to ask for the child’s meal to be brought as it was getting quite late. Food was hot and tasty when it was eventually served. Booking a slot in the pool was easy. Our room was clean, well stocked with toiletries, tea and coffee and the beds were very comfy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again. "
