Long stay guests (e.g. 5 nights) have to pay extra if they want the room cleaned or sheets changed during their stay. Otherwise, the property is beautiful architecturally, and well located for sightseeing. Hotel is right next door to the train station."

"Loved this hotel! Room was bigger than expected (Deluxe Hollywood Room) and was very clean. Check-in/out was easy with friendly and professional staff available to assist. Breakfast had a good variety of food. Main attractions were within walking distance (10-20 mins walk). Public transportation nearby (10 mins walk). Wish we stayed longer than one night for greater use of the facilities. Would definitely stay here again. "

"This hotel is well-run, if a bit sterile. The onsens -- one large and older with exquisite outdoor rock pools; the other brand new -- make this hotel special and are the best reason to stay here. The building is a bit old and tired except for a new wing. And the breakfast is pricey for what is offered. I also found the pillows very uncomfortable: too big and too hard. But for a short stay, the hotel did not disappoint."

Great view from our room, and although the property is a but dated, it is meticulously and lovingly maintained. "Right opposite Dentetsu station which was perfect to get to after we did Alpen-route from Oginawa direction. Stayed 3 nights used hotel as a base for that plus to go to Kanazawa (20 mins by train), & Fukui (45 mins by train) to Dinosaur museum & also look around Toyama itself rather than drag our bags from hotel to hotel in those places plan worked perfectly.
