Hotels near Kavos Beach

"We booked two double rooms for the three of us, but upon arrival we were greeted with the news that we had been lucky enough to be allocated the villa (please see photo). It was very spacious with two double bedrooms, a huge sitting-room, a very large bathroom and an additional, separate toilet and included our very own pool. We even had our own 'pets' - swallows nesting in the ceiling lights on the patio. Everybody at Cavomarina Beach was extremely friendly and went out of their way to help, especially Ines on Reception who was an absolute star and whose command of the English language was amazing. We originally booked just bed and breakfast, but were informed that for an additional 30 Euros per person we could upgrade to all-inclusive, which seemed like a very good deal and so it was. There was a good variety of dishes at each meal time, as well as snacks and, of course, drinks, in between. Every evening there was a different culinary theme, e.g. Corfu, Italian, Spanish, Asian, Greek etc. and there was always live entertainment. As the name suggests, Caromarina Beach has its own private sandy beach with plenty of sunbeds and even a few four-poster sunbeds, so there was really no need to bring out our 'inner German' and reserve them with beach towels first thing, although this obviously didn't deter some people! There was also a nice infinity pool and several of the rooms in the main hotel seemed to have access to additional pools. The Olive Spa was also a huge bonus."

"Great location, good amenities and surprisingly spacious. Clean linen and towels every couple of days. Wonderful host, who was helpful and friendly. Well stocked grocery store downstairs came very handy. We also had the use of swimming pool in the hotel next door which offered breakfast at reasonable price. "

"The luxury suite was great and spacious, the bar man Fortis was the best staff ever and made us feel welcome. We were only disappointed when the lady at reception made us wait whilst she ate for 20 mins when we needed our keycard to get back in our room. That wasn't good. However Fortis the bar man kept us happy with great conversation and apologies whilst we waited."
