Great little hotel in the heart of Thamel, close to everything, with a restaurant and cafe on site. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The owners were so nice, they even stored some of my clothes while I did the Everest base camp trek. Highly recommend!

Friendly staff and great service!
Posted 22 Dec 2018 on HotelsThe staff was very friendly and accommodating, the location couldn’t have been better and I was upgrading to a bigger and more comfortable room. However, in my opinion, it’s best to visit Nepal before the end of November when the weather is not as cold.

Peace Amidst Chaos
Posted 15 Oct 2018 on HotelsThis little hotel wad a place of peace in the midst of a very busy tourist area. Room eas great including a/c. Manager was always willing to help. The restaurant was excellent with food not as spicy as most Mepali foods.

We found the Truely Asia boutique hotel in Kathmandu an excellent hotel for us.We found the room, although smallish (we were trekking with 4 back packs though ) it was extreamely clean , quiet,everything worked and was serviced daily. Awesome hot breakfast, the staff could not do enough for you. The operations manager,Kanchan, was over the top helpfull, he booked taxis for us,changed money(despite what is reviewed, the price was comparable to money changers in Kathmandu) and even walked us to an ATM down the road. our bus to phokara was leaving early in the morning, on our day of departure, so they made us a travel brekkie. thanks for making our father/son trek memorable. Me and my husband spend 4 weeks there. Very good location, perfect staff and hospitality, management is very helpful and kind. Food is excellent. I will be going again in Nov 2018 definitely staying truly Asia. Definitely recommend to everyone:) Romeen

Bad Hotel to stay
Posted 3 May 2018 on HotelsI think we were given room lower than what we booked. They did not bother to provide room as per booking. No Almirah in room to hang clothes. No chair in room. Bathroom too small to bath properly. No room service. Did not like the hotel and more so not gave the room we booked.

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are amazed by your review. While check-in we gave the room, it was smooth & quick check-in. But after getting a room one of your group member called in reception telling this is not a room which you have booked, our colleague gave the room which you original booked (Twin Room) but, your were requesting for double room, and on that time we provide you a 1 Double Room as well. We think you were willing to have Family Room which were displaying on our main frame picture so as you thought that one was twin room. So, dear guest don't go on main frame picture, if you want to book a room please check room category pictures. So that you'll see the actual room pictures. And due to the confusion, like we other hotelier might also get a low rating.

don't pay full price, wait for a promotion
Posted 6 Apr 2018 on HotelsA little disappointed that a room wasn't ready for us even though we arrived at the hotel at 7pm (there were other guests too which this had happened to, not just us) and the room was much much smaller than advertised on the hotel website but apart from that it was comfortable, clean and quiet.

Thank you for your feedback. By the way; on your arrival your room was ready, we offer you welcome drinks & we told you to be seated on the lobby lounge for drinks. After the we checked in to you in your room. It didn't even took 10 mins for checked in. Regarding the other guest; she was our FIT client, We have 25 operating room and was fully booked, we have 2 spare room, so she was waiting for that spare room to be ready. Our room size varies as per the room category, you did booked for superior room and it's not that spacious like deluxe category.
At lastly; Thank you again for mentioning "Comfortable, Clean and quiet".
We hope to welcome you again in near future.
