Hotels with Swimming Pool in Karunagappally, Kerala

"We were a honeymoon couple and we were not given the category of room which we had asked for and booked for- floating room. Whilst booking we had called the hotel that we particularly want the floating room when booked with expedia but not given. Even the staff is lousy. Expedia staff kept calling the hotel but the night Reception staff kept hanging their phone without answering and finally kept the phone aside.spoiled our honeymoon plans. "

"The pictures posted to advertise this place and rating as 4-star was deceiving. We booked deluxe rooms, on entry the reception area was dark, no proper lighting and looked like we walked into haunted place. On entry to room, all I can smell was cigarettes smoke, room was unkempt, the walls were filthy, peeling of wallpapers or paint, stained chairs, flickering light in the toilet, chipped cups etc.. List gets bigger and bigger, I don't want to waste any further time with a review for this hotel...

"Absolutely loved our stay here. All the staff including the manager go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Rooms are clean and the food very good and very reasonable priced. We came mainly for the spa which again is excellent. However it’s the location on the waters edge with well kept gardens that really adds to the ‘feel good factor’ I was taken out on the kayaks which is something I would highly recommend especially at dusk/sunset where you can really appreciate the beauty of...

"Great place, quiet, secluded beach, close enough to shops and restaurants at Varkala Beach- 100-200 rupees in a tuk tuk. Hotel staff go out of their way to help you, they arranged our transport wherever we wanted to go and prices were fantastic"
