"I closed this hotel due to my last stay at APA Asakusa, Tokyo. The APA hotel and crew again made my trip very easy. From check-in to luggage service, the staff smiled sincerely and with very polite gestures. The room is very spacious given the superb location , I found all the amenities clean and up to date. 5 stars ? I would give it a 10. "

However, there were mosquitoes problem possibly harvested by the pond in the property. Hopefully the hotel can find solution to help with this problem. "The staff and cleaniness of the hotel was good, but it was way way overpriced for the type of room (unit style bathroom etc). Also the food was incredibly expensive - JPY8,000 for a dinner bento box (looked like something that would cost around jpy 1,500 at any other place). I have been living in Japan over 25 years and I would not recommend the hotel because it was so overpriced.
