The hotel is perfectly situated for visiting the Castle and other interesting sights. The staff were wonderful, kind and considerate. The communal sitting area is lovely and I was plied with tea all afternoon. The place is really warm which as a February visitor was important. The breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice. Both my husband and I really enjoyed our stay and we’ll be back for sure.

Russian built 19th century town house

As far as I could tell, nobody spoke much English, but that didn't really matter - very few people round here do, but one manages to get by.

Lovely historical place.
Posted 13 Jul 2022 on HotelsOverall really good. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were large and comfortable. The staff were nice and tried I help when they could .
Breakfast was nice. Lots of variety and lots of fruit. We are in the garden which was very very pretty.
I would stay again.
