I was disappointed that the entrance was a liquor bar. No elevator, and no staff to assist with luggage, only one person show. Though the person was nice, the lack of resources was bad. I had to go to the street to hire someone and pay extra to help with the luggage. I spent the first night there and couldn’t sleep because the bed was so hard it felt I was sleeping on a rock. I had to book with another hotel. The location needs a serious makeover. Like I said, the lady that runs the place was nice but the place was uncomfortable. A better description should be provided to avoid misleading.

A very disappointing review which affects our business greatly all due to someone not reading the description before they booked . We are a small guesthouse with great reviews not a 5 star hotel . On arrive you were angry because we do not have a butler to take your bags to the room . Then got angry saying we should hire a butler . No we don’t have an elevator and have never said we had an elevator, go read the booking description again ,Most people can manage to walk up some stairs . As for the location it’s a brilliant area next to food market shops bars and beach , you even told us the area is good . Never had any complaints about our beds before also but that’s not the reason you left you left because you could not get up the stairs . So I think our description is very accurate and not misleading like you try to point out . You just can’t keep some people happy who complain about everything I suppose .

This was our second visit to Sue’s Cozy Guesthouse. It’s great value for money if you’re on a budget. Simple but clean, tidy and a nice cool good size room. Sayfan is an excellent host and is always smiling and helpful. It’s a short walk to Kata Beach and the night markets are literally right outside with all the local food you could want.. There’s a nice bar downstairs with every sports channel you could want if that’s your thing.
Highly recommend!

The only good thing about this stay was how close it was to the beach. Contrary to the reviews I read, I was beyond disappointed. Sheets and towels had stains all over them it was disgusting. Staff was so incredibly rude - I couldn’t believe the way I was spoken to on multiple occasions. They do not have a card reader and I had to pay in cash just an FYI to anyone staying here if you “reserve now, pay later”. Overall felt uncomfortable, I regret not just spending extra to stay somewhere I felt safe.

Well I suppose after 4 years we were going to get our first bad review . But you only have to read all the rest to see it’s not true . We did not have a card machine available so this woman throw the cash at us very aggressively. Then she also thinks it’s ok to take her own alcohol and drink in the bar and leave all the rubbish . We asked if she could put in bin so they throw it hard in the bin . Yes you can take alcohol to room no problem but you don’t take your own alcohol to a bar in any country . The bed sheets and towels are all new so that’s another lie . We always said hello but she just ignored us . Surprised such an angry person can feel so unsafe . But is suppose we can’t please everyone . Thank you

The hotel was an extremelt convient area as the night market is right outside your door and beach is around a 10 minute walk (although it is uphill). Can be noisy at night due to the night market and tidying up. The host wasnt very welcoming upon arrival, which was very disappointing qs this was very different from the reviews we previously read. Also there was a problem with the flush on the toilet.
