Low quality. Dilapidated. Felt crowded. Food awful and unhealthy. Staff mostly miserable, untrained and unhelpful. Location: Kata/Karon filthy traffic polluted urban cheap and nasty, dirty streets, bars and restaurants. Beaches - no space, completely ruined by crowds of people.

Noisy, screaming kids ruin holiday.

We stayed here last year and it was ok, but very little space to put clothes and stuff. We thought things might be better this year, unfortunately still not enough space. This time there was stupid parents totally ignoring there young children screaming, and running around the pool and splashing other holiday guests. The kid’s should be in the small pool, but the parents just let the kids do what they wanted to do without any care for there safety and letting them dive in and out of the big pool. Where is the staff, who should be monitoring this behaviour.

Cosy hotel.

Our stay at the Ibis was fantastic. Good location, good staff the pool was a good size, plenty of umbrellas and sun beds. Quiet resort with enough restaurants nearby and the beach was only about 7 mins.

Friendly resort

We stayed here 15 nights, room is small but everything else is good. The pool is a nice size and no shortage of sun beds or umbrellas. The staff are really friendly, we had a lot of laughs,nothing to much trouble, you only have to ask.

We liked the location of hotel. Breakfast was really nice. Staff was friendly. Room could have been better. No shampoo, dental kits etc were provided.

Dear Narendra, We very much appreciate your comments regarding your recent stay at the ibis Kata. ibis is a limited service economy hotel provide great accommodation at an extremely competitive price point. Unfortunately some amenities are not available in ibis brand like dental kits and we have available soap and shampoo 2 in 1 in the bathroom. On the contrary we are glad to learn that you liked the location & friendly staff and our breakfast.
