"A good option for Mysuru. We had a good room on a floor which provides evening drinks and through the day relaxation - it was worth it. A beautiful flute player in the mornings gives a touch of classic India which we loved, however the general music played through the foyer and corridors is very repetitive and basic … would love some canartic music."

"Age of the property is showing up.. Rooms wasnt well prepared... only 2 towels, no hand towels, leaky water faucet made the whole bathroom wet.. no floor towels, broken clothes hanger behind toilet door. King bed was bent in the middle due to age.. Ive been a windflower patron for over 15 years, Overall not worth the money anymore unless they do a major overhaul. "

"The property is very clean and accessible. It is away from the hustle-bustle of the city but at the same time close enough to reach most of the tourist spots quickly. The staff is very good and friendly. The restaurant facility is equally good and serves good quality food. The room we booked was spacious enough with all the necessary amenities. Overall my stay with my family was very comfortable. I would recommend this hotel for your stay in Mysuru."

"Comfortable room , staff were mainly friendly although sometimes as a solo traveler I felt that they prioritised other guests (families) and had to wait longer in the restaurant. Plastic water bottles in the rooms - please consider using filtered water to reduce plastic. Good location away from the city (about Rs200 in auto) but walkable to several other restaurants too. No laundry facilities. "

"Actual property was not well maintained. The beds were unsupported like pull sofa beds are. This resulted in extremely sagging mattresses. The furniture was worn and soiled. The facilities were not clean. "

Bit far from palace, zoo.. good parking space available.. has 2 lifts makes convenient to access room.. we requested 2 beds .. even with that room was spacey enough for kid to roam around. Bathroom are clean and comfortable. Commode is bit high for short people. Tv has ample channels to browse. "We spent a delightful 4 nights at the Royal Orchid Metropole. It has a good location, just 5 or 10 minutes from the Palace by auto rickshaw. It is a genuine heritage property, and the furniture and fittings are OLD, they are certainly not 'tired' or 'faded'. Don't stay here if you expect hot water at the turn of a tap (it takes 15 mins to heat up). We found ourselves upgraded to a maharajah suite which was huge, with an enormous L-shaped balcony and an extra-large bed made from two large singles put together. Despite its size it was spotlessly clean. The staff team are welcoming, smiling and eager to please. We had two minor niggles - we did not have a working fridge until the third time of asking, and our room key cards had to be re-coded several times. There is an adequate if minimal gym/fitness room and a small, clean pool to cool down in the hot afternoons, and just enough loungers. Dinner at the courtyard restaurant was varied, tasty and reasonably priced, but there are so many multi-cuisine restaurants in Mysore that you can easily dine more cheaply if you need to. Breakfast was most often a good range but it was a little inconsistent, except for the pastries which were uniformly dry and lacking in taste or texture."
