Not a pleasant stay - False advertisement
Posted 9 May 2019 on HotelsThe hotel advertised its room as a luxury accommodation which was not the case. The room was ill insulated (a big gap underneath the door, a broken window, and no window in the bathroom), and without any in-room heating when the Kargil temperatures were below the freezing point. It was very cold at night and we had to wear our winder jackets throughout the night. While the service was nice and friendly, it was a disappointing stay as none of the advertised amenities were working: no wifi, no TV, there was no separate living room, and the hot shower water lasted less than 5 min. I felt misled and the property did not fulfill what it had advertised.

As your stay was on the first opening day of this season 2019 as it remains closed for almost six month and as the road was not opened properly for heavy vehicles, their were lots of logistic issues.
We really apologize that their were lots of repairing work undergoing at that time due to damage done because of cold winter season.
Yes the TV, WIFI, Hot Water and Heating arrangements were not working properly at that time. We have fixed everything now.
As a gesture, we will offer a complimentary stay next time you or any of your referenced guest stay at our hotel for a night.
Once again we apologize for the inconvenience cause to you at our part.
