Posted 27 Sep 2023 on HotelsI am soaking wet, traveled so far, jet-lag tired, so dirty. Please, please guys help me out just a little and allow me to check in 30 minutes early. At least pretend to check availability. 4pm is a ridiculous check in time anyway.
Though, I was very fortunate anyone was even there. Do not show up before 4pm. No one is there at all outside operating hours. They did hold my bag in a locker, at least. But it is a very strict environment, their many rules are there for the convenience of the business and not at all about customer care. There are signs everywhere: level you can run the ac, rules for inside your room, warnings about the company you keep or activities you participate. Do not, do not dare to check out one minute late! I don't know what will happen but there are many signs detailing the warnings.
Once I was checked in, it was comfortable and I was happy with my room. Clean bed, cable tv with english movies, mostly quiet, shower with towels, an outside balcony with a fun view. It was easy walking distance to the MRT station, a nice guard at the building entrance and night market and pharmacy store right outside.
With so much competition in the area, this might not be my first choice next time. But it was a good value and a fine stay this round.
