The staff is jaded and not friendly. They have been there too long and not interested in the guest. Nothing really happen to make me have this respond. It was just the feeling I got whenever I spoke with the staff. The place is dirty and I could smell weed and cigarette smoke whenever I left my room. The elevator had cigarette buds on the floor so clearly the no smoking signs were not taken seriously.

We had bed bugs and instead of fixing the problem they kicked us out at midnight. We thankfully found another hotel that we could pay cash for and was so much better.

Based on Expedias description, photos, and rating I selected this property. Traveled to KC for a memorial. I attemped to check in at 4:52. Ceck in is 3:00 pm. I was told by Dave at this they had no idea what rooms were clean so he wouldn't check me in. The room I actually reserved (2 double beds) they didnt have this updated reservation although I shared the confirmation # and email. Being tired I tell them just give me a room. A woman stopped in the office said they have clean sheets on beds but they aren't made and no towels in rooms because they are in the washer so I should try back in 30 minutes. As you can imagine I am frustrated, hungry and just want to get to my room after driving into town first thing in the morning straight to the memorial and afterwards to the hotel. I leave to go eat with family and return at 9:20pm to attempt to check in again. Dave is the only person working and tells me I need to wait as he helps the guest before me get into her room; after 2 trips Dave checks me in. I enter the corridor to the elevator to the 2nd floor I am hit with this foul, unclean odor, the floor of the elevator and walls are dirty stains..sticky, wet spots on floor. Getting off on the 2nd floor met with more of the smell. The room is nothing like photos on Expedia. Double bed is a full on an iron frame no box spring. Bathroom floor dirty. I refuse to stay Dave refuses my refund. 1 hr17 min later Expedia is no help with refund or relocating me to a new hotel!

This hotel is. It family friendly. Many 20 something’s or younger here. Compared to other stays I would not reccomend it.

This place and it's staff should be razed and replaced with a new building and customer friendly staff.
