The staff was very helpful (for instance, they offered umbrellas when we were going out as it was raining and made us fresh tea each morning). The room was clean and good value. The property is in walking distance to Lake Kandy and the temple.

15 minute walk along lake to Kandy centre. very helpful staff, organised the best carefull tuktuk driver that we had in Sri Lanka.

Communicative, clean, comfortable

This stay was totally easy. They were very responsive to messages and arranged for my taxi to see Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. They didn't have the best information (like explaining how to get a bus to Negombo), but they were very reassuring it was possible (It was possible. It was also a bit of a mess—but that's not on them.) The accommodations themselves were small, but clean and they probably had the best shower of my trip.

Great place to stay in Kandy

The service at Kandy Waters was top-notch; the staff went out of their way to assist us however needed. The location was also great: close enough to walk to town, yet far enough up the hill to feel quiet and secluded. Family of five fit well with the queen bed, futon and two couches.

Great staff, clean room

The room was lovely, although it didn’t have some of the items stated (I.e a tv) but that didn’t matter really as we were never in the room. It’s a 10/15 minutes walk from the centre of kandy, which is fine in the evenings when it’s a bit cooler. Would stay here again.

Comfortable accommodation, clean, attentive and friendly staff. Naranjen at the front desk was awesome. He was friendly, helpful and super-accommodating. He organised a super Sri Lankan breakfast on one of the days! Thank you Naranjen!

Great hotel, would stay again!

Great service and was instrumental in providing reliable information regarding trains and logistics. Room was clean and tidy. Heads up would be to only visit the spice garden tours (provided by separate tuk tuk driver - not in relation to the hotel) and not purchase the goods as they are not 100% natural as advertised. Walk if possible (walking distance to most places) as the tuk tuk drivers can be rather expensive for the distance.

Great little place on the hillside away from all the noise. Staff are super friendly, breakfast is a choice of Sri Lankan or western, and the staff arranged two tours for me (Kandy/Sigirya) the morning I asked about it. Roma are small but clean and tasteful - beds and the bed linens are divine.

Gorgeous.

The hotel (good big breakfast of fresh fruit juice, fresh fruit plate, toast, plain omelet, and a pot of coffee / tea) is less than a 5 minute walk from the lake / town center / Buddhist attraction. The lake has lots of big visible carp fish. With rush hour planning, the hotel is still less than ten minutes from the railway station, and a half hour for Royal Botanical Gardens - Peradeniya, Tea Factory and Spice Gardens. The TV channels were out and hopefully fixed. The staff was helpful and provided a hair dryer for a late overnight wash and dry for a few T shirts hang on hangers and towel stand.
