The views were stunning. The staff friendly, helpful and eager to please. The chef cooked excellent meals. Thank you very much for looking after me during my stay.

Staff very helpful with arranging transport. This hotel is situated in a quiet location on the hillside above Kandy so they will arrange a tuk tuk to take you into town or a taxi for longer journeys. Food was fresh and tasty.

Quiet location with excellent views
Posted 24 Sep 2018we stayed only one night but was a pleasant stay. As hotel is high on hill expect some wind noise, Had issue with Water supply which in under hour was fixed by hotel.

Didn't meet my expectations. Checkin too slow. The staff are polite and helpful. Didn't like the room, especially the bathroom.

Awful smell in bathroom
Posted 28 Mar 2016 on HotelsThis hotel was a disappointment after the great reviews that I read. On arriving in our room (103), the smell from the bathroom was disgusting. The bellboy actually flushed the toilet as soon as he came into our room. The bathroom had already been cleaned, and had a paper wrapped around the toilet claiming it was sanitized. I asked a member of the staff to come to ‘smell’ the bathroom. They agreed it was disgusting and suggested they put in a ‘fragrance’. There was no amount of fragrance, or spraying that would disguise the smell. There is something very wrong with their drains. I asked to be moved to a new room (something I have never done in my travels). Upon leaving the next morning, you could already smell the bathroom stench in our new room (203). I hope the hotel fixes their drainage problems, as the views are amazing.
