Nice hotel with view
Posted 27 Jul 2024 on HotelsHad a good stay here, the hotel is nice and the staff friendly, however needs a bit of upgrading. A couple of things in the room were not up to standard (plug socket not working, no kettle). Also breakfast is extra (20 CHF I think) I know it is becoming common for hotels to charge for breakfast, but it should be included.

The property was easy to get to from the train station. Is was very charming and the staff was very friendly.

Very nice hotel with exceptionally friendly staff. Love the convenience of the grocery store as well as the proximity to the cable car to Oeschinensee. Very nice restaurant on site. They also have fantastic jacuzzi tubs that rotate to the outside for an indoor-outdoor hot tub experience. Our room had a round bed!

Comfortable but take your kettle.
Posted 7 May 2022 on HotelsVery convenient location for both bus and train connections. Room decent size and great to have a balcony. The Internet did not work at all although they tried to fix it, important everywhere these days especially if you do not have inclusive EU roaming packages. No kettle or any coffee machine is provided in the rooms.

Thanks for your message. In fact we had that day an internet problem what could fortunately be solved. We are a 3* hotel in Switzerland, so normally no coffee machines and / or kettles in the rooms. We sell coffee and tea in our restaurant and you can drink it on breakfast. And we do have some kettles on demand at reception, I don't know if you asked or not. But next time please do so.
