Steps going up onto second floor, last one was about 3 inches higher than others, such that i caught my foot and fell forward onto my shoulder and knee. Have fully recovered.
Otherwise I foiund the hotel to be good. Good breakfasts; quiet; friendly; front desk always helpful.

Ich komme sehr gerne wieder. Ja/Yeszum Tick Hotel
Posted 8 May 2021 on HotelsIch empfehle dieses Hotel weiter. Anstatt 5 Tage bleibe ich hier 3 Wochen insgesamt, weil nebenan ein sehr schöner Pool ist. Dieser kostet 5 Euros pro Tag. Da bin ich geblieben. Restaurant, Bar, Rezeption - sehr freundliches Personal. Alles bestens! Ich fühle mich sehr wohl in diesem Hotel!

Nice for the money
Posted 19 Feb 2020 on HotelsThe tick was a nice place for the money with extras you wouldn't expect from a low cost hotel. It even had American food. The downside is no safe in the room, small room size wthout much sace and no overhead shower but a hand held one. Also like in other countries bring your own face towels.

Sunrise and Sunset Views

The service and hospitality is excellent at the Tick Hotel. The Hotel is a little older and it is on a very busy road, but it is paradasaic inside with palm trees and native plants. The rooms and balconiesset above and back from Bombo Road making for some wonderful sunsets. If you love working out, they have a great gym and free coaching as well as a lively Cardio class M, W & Fri evening. At the time I'm writing this Oct 2018, a one hour Massage is $8 USD, breakfast is included, and dinner is around $7USD unless you opt for the Full Talapia Special at $12USD. It's hard to beat this hotel at $36-$40USD per night. Make sure to request a room with AC, and you can call Uber or take the hotel van.
