Posted 6 Jul 2018Beautiful view from the breakfast area. My room did not have electricity all during the day. The bathroom had no door just a ripped shower curtain. The shower didn’t work. It took 4 staff members coming in every 5 minutes to figure out the shower and by the time they showed us it was time to check out.

Charming hotel, friendly staff

Pros: The verandas and garden, a beautiful setting in a nice part of town.
Cons: The shower arrangement was awkward. You had to sit in the tub to use the hand-held shower device since it wasn't attached to a pole.
Location: It is in a nice part of town but walking is challenging because there are no sidewalks & the traffic is quite heavy. I just stayed one night.
This hotel was a residence at one time so the layout is a little strange. On the second floor, there is a large living room area connected to two tandem bedrooms, the master reached via a small bedroom; this would be ideal for a family. Other guests on this floor have access to the living room. There is also a large balcony. I had a small room with a bath; no shower per se, just a tub with a hand shower attachment, a little awkward to use.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
I would stay there again.
