I really enjoyed my visit. I travelled with a small dog, and they were very welcoming, to both me and my dog. It was refreshing to be in a place that was pet friendly, many many fun nights with staff who were open to playing fetch with my highly energetic dog! Lots of space for him to play and walk without disturbing other guests. My DOG was happy and content which made my stay very relaxing and enjoyable. I LOVE African Tribe Hotel. I Will definitely be back and I highly recommend to travelers with or without pets. the hotel offers a nice balance between comfort and quality while never lacking in either regard. 5 stars

reception staff are totally unprofessional. They do not respect the hotel's customers. The hotel room I had already booked and paid for online was given to someone else and I was forced to stay in another room.
Moreover, the hotel management is not willing to take any corrective action when the hotel staff are carelessly and irresponsibly messing around the guest rooms and disturbing the comfort of the guests. What surprised and angered me the most was that the hotel staff entered my room without my knowledge and permission. That place is a disaster for me

I love staying in this neighborhood, in Nsambya however this hotel is disappointing. There are issues with the power here and the generator is not sufficient to sustain when the power goes out, which is very often.
The biggest issue is the bar on the property which stays open until 5-6AM and blasts bass music very loud and disturbs the hotel guests sleep. I came down 3 times to ask the hotel to control the music at 4AM but there was no change and for me - NO SLEEP!
The employees at the hotel are very polite and considerate but I feel the accommodations are lacking when it comes to comfort and consideration for getting proper sleep.
