Wonderful area, in downtown Kalispell. Near everything. Stores, restaurants all within walking distance. Breakfast is included and rooms are equipped with microwave and fridge making travel easier especially for families. I have stayed here over half a dozen times and will return again!

The only thing that met my expectations was Jim the airport shittle driver. my room was dirty, especially the bathroom, my bed was so soft i felt like I was hitting the floor, the ice machine is a ridiculous walk away. It should be ALOT easier to get from ne floor to another, more elevators to get to all areas. ONE ELEVATOR?! Just seriously dissatisfied. No sleeping in that bed, for a 12 hour trip the next day. Not good. :(

My boys were enthralled with how kind the staff were. Most staff we encounter when we go away aren’t very friendly, but the staff at the red lion were fantastic. The boys loved the pool, the loved the atrium and the liked the fact the tv actually had channels. My only complaint I suppose would be the hot tub was oddly small for such a big hotel. My 10 year olds complaint was “they need bacon.. breakfast is supposed to have bacon!” 😂 Other than that, we have no complaints.
