"The Hokitika Fire Station is a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable, spacious, clean, complete with all the amenities we needed and wanted. We'd happily stay there again and regret only staying for one night. It is in a good location with parking just behind the building. "Amazing spot, sleeping to the sound of the waves. We had an outdoor tub and once it stopped raining, we took advantage of it and soaked in it. The only “bad” thing was the carpet in the bathroom; it has a moldy smell, probably because it gets wet and doesn’t quite air out. Other than that, wonderful stay! Also, Sue was very helpful with our late check in and communication. "
