The property is in a location a good distance from the Center with its food options. A car or taxi is required and there is no Uber. A very nice breakfast, but other than that a basically average hotel.

The staff, location, and appearance are great. The showers are extremely dangerous. The way they are configured to be "step up and in" as well as porcelain without heel grips makes them deadly to the elderly. Furthermore, the soap dispenser, while very convenient, can leak directly onto the porcelain creating even more dangerous conditions. This must be corrected or someone will be severely hurt.

Good option in Ktown - one of the few hotels that will have a single twin bed option at a lower price. Many rooms have small balconies - not a great view, but good for some air (or a smoke)...

The property felt very safe with professional maintenance staff as well as utility care. I was given a room that satisfied the majority of my needs without any issues that I would personally consider to be very inconvenient, and the overall service was generally respectable.
While it took me some time to get used to the surroundings of the property due to my lack of German knowledge, I did not feel as though the neighborhood was dangerous at any given time nor particularly alien. The people I met were patient with me and treated me well, and the transportation services that passed in the neighborhood were also excellent.
In short, I had a pleasant time at Best Western Kaiserslautern. I look forward to my next stay there, should I have any more of them in the near future.

Property was quiet and in a great location. I was able to relax and enjoy my stay without being bothered. Management and staff were attentive and professional.
