"We were welcomed with big smiles and fresh complimentary juices. Our room was upgraded without additional fees. Good variety of breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Mendis & Sudish who work at Breeze Restaurant. The hotel and surroundings are very neat, also easy access to the beach. Near to seafood restaurants. "The Taj Bentota is a very big hotel right in the beach. The
pool area is spectacular with plenty of space and sunbeds.
The breakfast is excellent with something for everyone. We didn’t have supper in any of the restaurants but did have some very good
pool bar snacks and drinks.
There are lots of excellent seafood restaurants just outside the hotel entrance gates, across the railway track.
Overall I would definitely recommend the Taj Bentota and ALL the staff but especially the Duty Manager...

"It was wonderful to return here - I love this hotel. The gardens are beautiful and the beach is clean and fabulous for swimming and long walks. The staff are outstanding. In many years of travel I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hotel staff member more dedicated than the
pool guy (
pool is great for swimming laps too - 25m). The housekeeping team were great too - and surprised me daily with towel ‘art’ and flowers on the bed. Excellent food too! "

"excellent staff who could not do enough to make sure your stay was as you would want it.
Pool was wonderfully warm and gardens were exquisite and very colourful.
Trains were noisy but interesting and after a while you did not notice them."

"By far the best experience! It was the staff that make the experience more enjoyable. On our first day we met Wasanthi, she showed us the beauty of what Raddison has to offer, made me a lovely coconut water by the beach. We then met with Ashan Randika at the bar who served beer and the best pizza! Throughout our stay they made sure we had the best time. Thank you team, highly recommend 5 star service! Thank you again Wasanthi, Ashan and the restaurant, concierge staff. First trip to Galle and will come again xx"
