Friendly and professional hotel. Modern with very clean and cpnfortable rooms. Easy access to the city centre. Great selection of restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity

The hotel was conveniently located, was relatively new compared to other hotels around the city centre of Kagoshima. Staff are friendly.

Great location with a new hotel feel
Posted 29 May 2024 on HotelsThe location was excellent as it was close to ferry access to Mt Sakurajima, the Tenmonkan shopping district as well as the Kagoshima Station. Think the hotel is relatively new and more oriented towards business. But still overall good service from reception. Got adjacent rooms for my family of 3, but the rooms are a little uncomfortable for 2 pax, but perfect for a single. Check in and check out service was easy. Had a decent view of Mt Sakurajima (not full frontal view). Hotel lobby on the 7th floor. Don’t be surprised that taxis from the Kagoshima station will drop you on the opposite side of the hotel. There are some road restrictions during peak hours I think, but it’s easy to cross as there is a traffic junction.

Thank you for visiting Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kagoshima Tenmonkan PREMIER.Our hotel is located in the center of Temmonkan and is easily accessible from both Kagoshima Chuo Station and the airport.There are many restaurants around the hotel, making it very convenient.We do not have any rooms with a direct view of Sakurajima. For this reason, we refer to our rooms as “Sakurajima-side” rooms. There are some rooms with a “Sakurajima View”, but they are limited to deluxe double rooms and universal twin rooms, and there are very few of these types of rooms. The “Sakurajima View” rooms are located in a position where you can see Sakurajima when you lie on the bed by the window.We sincerely look forward to serving you again.

I could not access the hotel’s cooperative parking lot, as it was full. Eventually I parked my car on other parking lot and ends up pay 4550 yen for overnight.
